Cade's Plantation
« on: November 28, 2010, 11:04:08 pm »
I got invited to Chris Cade's place this Thanksgiving weekend to hunt and thought I'd share some aireal shots from my stand. Chris has a beautifull piece of property, and this weekend seemed perfect for deer hunting.

Didn't see a deer in four days but had a great time with a very good friend, as I always do. It's probably good we live 550 miles apart, We'd be divorced, or one of us would.

That's the tree I sat in when I was down there. Is the hornet nest still in the hole on the left side of the tree?   :o
I didn't see any deer in GA this weekend either. One guy did hear what he described as two big bucks fighting but never saw them.

I was wondering why the perspective was a little off.  ::)  Yep, that's the one...hornets living in a knot hole of the right side just behind the seat.  :o

Nope, I was in my Climber about another 20' higher. Wish you could have made it too. We ate good. I was high enough to cover the apple ochard in the bottom, the road to the north and up to the middle stand in the center food plot. ;D

now that i've figured out the dutch oven, we'll eat better next time.  i forget how nice the place looks from 40' high.  glad you made it up.  hopefully the deer will cooperate next time.
