Linen backing

can you use bed sheets as linen backing or what kind of linen to use? help please.

Yes, the problem however is trying to find sheets that are actually made out of linen and not cotton.

I was able to find it at a fabric store.  They only had one bolt that was real linen and many that were imitation.  I had to be very specific in my search.

I went to joannes fabrics, and bought 2 yards of real 100% line.  20 dollars/yard.

In the past I have ordered from the Martha Pullen (sp?) fabric co. They have a wide selection. My last purchase was 2 years ago, I think I paid around $11. a yard. You will be able to back several bows with a yard.

Any artist supply house will have linen canvas. I use 6oz tight weave.
