red elm project with new quiver

bow is from red elm i cut a couple months ago the quiver is yuca i got at mo-jam last year. 62" ntn 55#@28 1 1/4 widest to 3/8 tips.i wanted to do something different with tips so i overlayed and butted elk antler tines . i think it shoots very well for design and red elm,  its pretty quick and shoots very quiet with no hand shock.

the tips are just butted and overlapped glued with epoxy.the string grove is above the limb for strength.thanks for replies and could someone change the weather back to where it was when i started this project? ;D

The tiller looks good.  Nice bow...red elm makes a good bow.

I have yet to work with Red elm but that sure looks nice. I have heard elm transforms when you heat treat it from good to great. Did you heat treat your belly?   Danny

thanks for the nice words everyone , sidewinder it was heat treated but what reflex it has was natural. it is very quick for elm.

   Bow came out great. Doesn't look like red elm to me. Is the wood very light? Most red Elm I have seen is light and semi soft but red elm is a very fast bow wood. Steve

Beautiful tiller on that bow. Did you heat the red elm? I have tried 2 red Elm bows and they both flopped on me. I didn't heat them and was wondering. Dean
