Knapping Folks "Roll Call"?
« on: February 05, 2011, 09:20:47 pm »
I was just thinking it would be great to know if any Knappers are in my "general" area.  Maybe folks wouldn't mind posting up their locations or possible gathering of Knappers in the area?

I am located in SW lower Michigan (Holland)

Many thanks,

Lee

Lee, I am a beginner knapper in Muskegon.  go to Michigan Flintknappers.com and you will find a web site for the 'un-official" club web site run by a Mr. Love.  He posts knap-ins etc. in Michigan.  I have been to a couple and the knappers are great guys who have been very helpful to me with instruction.

Thanks JEB, I just poked around that site but there was no contact info for Mr. Love and the Knap-In schedule was from 2009...do you know if they are still current or of any upcoming Knap-ins?  Thanks again, Lee

Hey Cowboy, that is pretty cool!  One of my best buds from High School days lived in Zeeland...we've climbed that Tower and "left our mark" so to speak  >:D

Thanks, Lee
