A bow for my nephew

First off, let me introduce myself.  I have been reading this board for some time now, but have been just lurking until now.  Many of the people on this board are those that I know from other sites where I am more active, but I thought I might start participating in the discussions here as well.  So as a means of introduction, I thought I would show you guys the bow I completed yesterday for my nephew. 

I had taken a few bows with me to a family gathering last winter to show off to a few people. Of course when my 11 year old nephew saw them he just about wet himself, he wanted one so badly.  So off and on, over the last several weeks, I slowly worked on this one for him.  Yesterday I finally got off my tuchus and finished it up for him.  It is 53 inches nock to nock and draws 30 pounds at 25 inches.  I made it from a red oak board from the local home center.



Here is a picture of it unbraced as well as braced:



The tips are overlaid with elk antler.  I made the arrow shelf from a piece of leather saturated with superglue.

Well, I hope you like it.  Feel free to point out any flaws you see.  After all, you can only learn by recognizing your mistakes.

Justin,  here is a better view of the pin nocks.  I have come to use this type of nock on pretty much all my bows.

Thanks for all the compliments.  No, he hasn't shot it yet.  They live in the Seattle area and I live in Boise, so I'll have to mail it to him before he gets to shoot it.  I have shot it in about 50 arrows worth, and it is a screamer.  I was expecting a lot less performance for such a light bow, but I was pleasantly surprised.  Jbell, yeah, I do have a gorilla draw.  I draw to 29 inches myself.  I think that in the picture I am drawing to about 24 inches.
