This is a point from my neighbor’s collection. Can anyone identify the style for me?

looks like a  "cossatot river"  to me
with the basal notch
approx size demensions could also help determine what it is
could also be a "ferry",but they didnt have the basal notch

Yup, I'd have to agree with hillbilly on that. Looks like a used up hardin. Look at the point in the bottom right found in Henderson Co, IL. Early Archaic, 9000 - 6000 bp.

Hey thanks.  I will tell my neighbor do you know anything about this type of point?  Do you think it was made in southeast Iowa or traded too this location

I don't know anything about that type point but it was made all over that part of the country. Look it up in your Overstreet point guide book when ya get it. You can also google just about anything..
