Olive wood points?

Hey guys my neighbor gave me a big hunk of olive wood from egypt. It is denser than water and has already injured a few power tools because its so hard. Do you guys think it would be hard enough to make points out of? Let alone hunt with them?

Don't see why not. I have some extra bloodwood I am going to make some heads to use for small game hunting. Here we have to use steel for hunting big game. Deer, Antilope, Elk, Turkey.
