Classic...whos going?

without filtering through the Tennessee Classic thread....and then figuring out who's a knapper, I figured I'd post here.

Finally found out Id be able to go to the Classic. Which of ya'll rock beaters are going to be there? Looking forward to actually getting to see ya'll work your magic.

Regrettably i will not be able to make this year. Will be working in SD instead - feel like i'm going to a funeral :(.

Should be a bunch,I know Jesse,Shanon,Jon,JohnT,Mullet,and someone said they thought James Parker was going to be able to come this year. I am pretty sure Hillbilly. Cowboy I am sorry to hear that but a man has to work,at least I do. :) :)

Spoke with James the other week...said he was booked up on the weekends in April with his bossman....but I cant remember if he mentioned getting away for the Classic or not.

I'm not sure if I'll get to go this year or not-may not be able to get off work. Bummer. I've been for the last four-five years or so (I can remember the first year I went, I was the only guy in the pit beating on rocks, if you can believe it.)

Maybe for us NC or surrounding area persons who don't get to go, we can have a one day event close by here. Might make some of us feel a little better.

It looks like I might be able to make it.  My tent is a big ol' white canvas rendezvous tent and I don;t think I have room to bring it so I'l; have to figger something else out.  Watch for the redhaired yankee complaining about the heat and humidity!!!
