Feathers for stringstretcher
« on: January 03, 2011, 05:24:44 pm »
Just a early notice to give people some time, this year I am planning on going to at least three shoots, and hopefully the Classic. I will be at STAR, ATAR, and The Baltimore.  So if anyone has any connections to get turkey or goose feathers, and would like to meet with me at these shoots, now is the time to start getting the word out.  I am looknig to get all the turkey feathers I can possibley get this year, so any and all help would be apprecited.  We can talk trade or if you need more info, just contact me.

Are you looking for primaries only, or could you use some secondaries?
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

If you make the Classic I will hook you up with some, especially sec. and tail.  :) :) Don't need anything in trade,I usually get a lot of them and only use the left primary. :) :) But hate shipping stuff. :)

Well hang on to them Pappy.  If I start to walk today, I just make it just in time......lol.  I am going to do everything possible to get there this year.  Looking now into renting a van, and using that as my sleeping quarters as well.  Looks to be about 11 hour drive, so it might take me two days to get there and lots of pills, but I am sure going to try.  This has been my "want to" go to event for abut 4 years now, and still trying.  Maybe this is the year.

Thanks again everyone

Getting close to that time.  I am asking anyone and everyone that has or can get turkey feathers please do.  Being able to do these feathers keep my mind busy and helps more than anything right now.  So please keep me in mind when you find or have access to turkey feathers, as I will trade the grinding for the opposite wing or half of what you send.  Pass the word please, and anyone who is coming to the classic that might have feathers, please let me know and maybe we can work out some other trades that I can bring with me.

Charlie, I'll get you as many as I can. No trade needed either. I hate making arrows, only do it when I have to.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Awesome.  I can use all the help I can get.  I thought I had a hook up for some snow goose feathers, but seems that has fallen through.

Anyone else who does not use their feathers, please keep me in mind.   I have some things to trade, but we will just have to talk.
