Texas rock.

This rock was picked up at the Colorado river TX. It was one of those that had pretty color but was as hard as concrete.I managed to get a preform out of it raw. Placed it in my pit with some spalls & put a little fire on it. Its amazing how a little heat can change everything. I love workingTexas rock.

Dang Tower! I thought that was the same point you posted before but now I see that the notches aren't all screwed up on this one ;D. I hear ya on the heat. Some of this TX don't need much. Nice point as usual..

Man that's a coo point. I live in Sulphur Springs Tx and have had a hard time finding any flint around here.

Check the river bottoms,creeks, & draws. Even tough stone can be changed with heat. Sometimes.
