Tried another Montell and was much happier with the notching. Its not a large point but I liked the way it turned out. It's another Rhyolite beast.. >:D

We can hook you up! I got some that wont flake worth a darn with percussion...I mean it will but most of the time it's not a clean flake....but, imho....pressure flakes awsome..ok maybe not awesome but a lot better than it percussion flakes. Want some?  ;D

 Got a knapping window today, figured I'd attempt the challenge again.Knocked a spall off a big chunk of glass buttes and thought  "Wow, that's a big chunk,lets see what it makes,Made a tomahawk head. Oh well, I will try the challenge again tomorrow.  '  Frank

nother piece of pedernales. really happy with the notches on this one , cause notches give me trouble with abo tools. the outer ones were done with an ulna notcher and the inner one an antler punch. snapped the ear when i was taking a few of the last punches out of the center notch. makes it look authentic though

U guys are doing some great work I cant wait to get into the "challenge"  a buddy of mine "Jack" who owns  StonesandBones.com found a crowfield point the other day amazing!  Maybe fluted points arent the best choice...LOL
