lombard whenever you use bone make sure its dry. there is also a spur on the side of the ulna that will chew your hand up. good idea to grind it down. not that i did but maybe wire brush the rest of the meat off so its not greasy.

russ jump back in bubba, got a box coming to you in a couple days to play with.

justin the only reason i made the eccentric is because it had a turtle back i was removing. when i removed it the flake went through the hump and rolled the other edge off leaving a hollow where one of the tangs start. i liked the way it looked so did the other side and couldnt stop notching.   think im gonna do a knife blade with some funky notching in it. i suck at notching so these are good practice.

Hey jamie could you photo that bone for me I don't know what they look like exactly.  A deer died late winter and I want to go down a get the ulna.

john look at the last photos of the solutrean. the meaty bone is the ulna. if you find one from the deer it should have about 4 more inches of thin bone attatched to the end. i'll try and get a picture up of the full bone tomorrow night.
