I wasn't careful.

Found a little time to knap today but I broke the finished notch applying pressure with my fingers trying to get the other one in. So, instead of tossing it I reworked it. From a decent corner notch to a perdiz point.

"instead of tossing it"!!  Dang you guys must be really hard core if you're tossing out points because they have a little corner missing.  That's a killer either way I look at it.  Great looking point and reworked point!!  Man I hope you all don't toss em when they look so good.  Tower, keep them busted ones in a box and collect a few and get back w/ me when you have several and we'll try to work out a trade. ;)

Dang out of the fire nice save! Tower cant wait to meet you one day and watch you knock out one of those points with the deep notches. I finally did some nice notch work today but the camera in the phone stopped working. I will maybe have pictures up tomorrow. Are you using a pressure flaker or are you punch notching?

Mountains....You really are a Flatlander aren't You....   :P      If this was taken where I think it was...down between West Columbia and Wharton...there aint a Mountain around....awesome looking Photo though...great use of surroundings...

He's right, the closest thing to a mountain around here are the stockpiles at work.   But in a weeks time I'll be in New Braunfels and there is some premium rock there.
