Oh man! I REMEMBER this post!  I was incredibly jealous of Seabass for this.  Did anyone replicate one of these?

   I have built the same designs, I am not so sure what rules they were shooting under then but I find bows a little longer seem to do better. I have one right now just a few inches longer that is giving me tremendous speeds but has yet to give me impressive distance. If I had more time to tune it to the arrow it might do better.
