great job on that one Pat. I like everything about it. You put a lot of time into that short piece of wood and it shows.
 You're right about the shorter bows. Its amazing how much better they make you shoot the longer ones :)

         Super nice and love the skins, they are unique, never saw a coachwhip. Nice string angle comming of those tips also, bet she's smooooth on the draw all the way back. Really nice...

Pat, I have not been on line much but still don't see how I missed this one. you had said you were working on her but I have not seen the thread till now. Beautiful bow as always, you sure do nice work. I wish you much enjoyment with this bow.   Kenneth

Kenneth, the first layer of sinew on this bow came from Elkie. After the sinew popped off the last time I peeled it all off, soaked it in water to seperate it and set it out to dry as induvidual strands. When I was ready to sinew this bow I rehydrated the sinew and glued it down. When that dried for a month I added 4 shreaded backstrap sinews over the first layer. She's my shortest bow for my draw I have built and she's a real shooter.  Might even make an elk bow out of her!  ;)

Pat that tiller looks perfect! I had to come back, for another look at those skins, and saw the full draw pic.  You really got a keeper there. What you said about the shorties is so true. They can be like a high spirited filly sometimes, and you can end up in the ditch if not carefull. But once you get confident and used to them the longer bows feel like cheating. Congratulations on a great bow!
