Those are beautiful, bubby.  I've made a few out of river cane here the past few weeks and want to give bone a shot.  It's amazing how good they sound with a little practice.

I bet you'll get a yelp of delight from the recipients.  Mothers will shake their heads and cluck their tongues, Fathers will tell the kids to putt them away before they break 'em.  But the kids will just gobble them up.
