red oak and linen
« on: March 01, 2012, 02:24:09 pm »
Hey. Made this redoak board bow a year ago and decided to refinish it. Hunted with it last winter and have shot it many times. Kind of like it. So I decided to refinish it because I was bored with the dark walnut color on it. Having the walnut on it before makes the grain stand out even more because the dark color is still in the early wood. Makes it look pretty cool. Any way, never got around to posting this bow before so here it is. 53 lbs @ 26". 64" ttt. 2" wide from hndle to just before mid. Great shooter. Enjoy.

Looks good. Did you bag anything with it this year?
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
