04-16/17 rock breakin
« on: April 17, 2012, 11:47:02 pm »
Guys, I busted a bunch of rock up today.  Most of it while spalling bigger pcs. for bigger flakes.  I made the obs. yesterday and finished the white one today.  I felt pretty good today and once I get the thinnin thing down,  I'll have two thumbs up.   :-[...I'm hoping... :-[ I Still have a great ways to go, but I'm still having fun and finally getting some points that might go into the quiver this fall.  I spalled some good pcs. for the next session  today too.  Thanks for lookin. dpg

All nice ones. The Obs looks good to hunt from here. Does me good to see people posting points, I haven't had a lot of time this year. What's the white material?

" What's the white material?"

I thought you were gonna tell me?  ! ;D  I got it from iowabow a while back.  I really like the white one, it's thick, but pointy and sharp and as big as I've been able too keep together.  I'm gonna keep it as long as I can.  thanks for the reply Don. dp

That white one needs to go on a spear shaft. It's a killer.  '  Frank
