Don,

I tried to make a big point out of some really cool rock that came from your pickup bed.  I kept breaking it shorter and shorter and finally realised it was a great candidate for this point.  I was so excited to get it done without breaking it again that I forgot to sharpen one side of the point. ::)

Had something funny happen while making it.  One of the times I broke the tip off the chunk flew down and stabbed me in the ankle.  I could not get it to stop leaking.  First time I've ever had to put a bandaid someplace other than a finger while knapping.

Same here.

Cool looking points!

I haven't looked up this point style yet, but seems to be good for lodging into the body but not exiting, internal damage.

I got one that I'm pretty happy with.  I think it's some of that coral that Mullet brought to the classic.  Got kinda stressfull @ the end, fragile.  Only the 2nd time I've tried serrations, I used a small flat screwdriver, my smallest flaker was too big.  Anywho, have a look! dpgratz
