Here's a few I have made. The three standing up are of course made from Dalton points and the two laying down are drills made to be drills. The materials on the Daltons, left to right are Edwards chert, Novaculite and Alibates . The square end one made from Novaculite was the first drill that I think I ever made years and years ago. The one with the round end is Edwards.

OK here is my first attempt at a drill. :o It looks kinda wide compared to the other ones. Looks ok for making big holes. :laugh:

Alright! Dalton those drills are superb.
Majuba, I have a slim idea that a drill like
yours would be self sharpening and very effective.
BTW cool material????
I am trying to find time to experiment more.

People are making some cool drills! I like that drill that has what looks like a bannerstone on it and all the "real deal" drills! Neat stuff guys.

Yep Dalton,
Soapstone, almost 3/4 ". I think slate is softer.
I had a lot of banded slate but gave it away.

Well unfortunately I don't think I will get a drill done before the deadline, but I am excited for whats next!....When will the next style be decided?
