Who is ready for hunting season???
« on: September 03, 2007, 05:15:55 pm »
I was driving out to my friends barn today and right in the middle of Nashville golf course were about 15 wild turkeys.  :o  A lot of gobblers!  Then on the way back in this area I call "turkey hill" because we often see them were about 8 more just walkin through someone's back yard.  :)  Nice, plump, good lookin' beards...I thought I just had to let you all know and find out who has the itch?  ;D  I know DanaM does!  ;)

I found the wildlife management booklet online and it has all the season's info including certain parks that open just for archery on certain days.  P.M. me if anyone is interested...

Archery season is less than 2 weeks away for me sep 15th this year then then it goes until jan. except for one week of gun hunting. Thats ok its not bad to take a break for a week.   Jesse

I know I'm ready. But our season don't open until Oct.13.So I guess I'll have to wait.I pulled in the driveway about a hour ago to see a fat doe feeding in the back yard. And when season does open you probably won't be able to buy one.I don't know how they know LOL.tradrick

Our season where I hunt in GA starts this coming Saturday(Sept 8) and NC starts Monday(Sept 10) ;D    I'll be at my club in GA early Friday afternoon in preparation for the pre-hunt festivities and ceremonies. ::) My stand is in and the beans have been planted and rained on. ;D All I need now is for Flossy to walk out and give me a shot! ;D   Pat
