First hunt of the season.

Was looking for deer, but did not see one.  Did come across some hogs.  These two are just about the best size for eating.

mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm them look tasty.  nice job Ill take a hog over a deer anyday for table fair.  Although I do love deer meat.  Congrats and good luck on your next hunt.

Thanks.  I built this bow three years ago
  Its a bamboo backed ipe, osage, ipe quad lam.  I made the quiver from a buck i shot two years ago.

They are tasty and these two guys are going to be slow smoked on our next big campout.  I live in texas and my land has lots of hogs which makes a great default prize when deer hunting, but i sure would have liked to have put a nice fat doe in the freezer.

Nice.  I like the piggies, but haven't shot one with a bow in a long time.  Good shooting and nice bow.

If you get an extra one, could you freeze it whole and ship it to me????  That's the size I'd like to try smoking whole!
