The Perfect Hunt
« on: November 02, 2012, 01:41:36 am »
Well it finally came together for me. Here is the 5-point I shot November 1st with my hickory longbow, homemade cedar arrows and Ace Standard. The deer came in about as soon as I sat down in the stand. I was able to make a perfect heart shot, so the deer only ran 50-60 yards. The best part was that it ran toward my house.  Can't wait to get my Michigan Deer Cooperates Patch, you Michigan guys should know what I'm talking about. ;D

Victor the victorious!  Or is that vic-tenderloin-us?

Awful sporting of her to run towards your house for you.  Mine always seem to find a way to roll to the lowerst single point in the county!

Good work.

Outstanding!  Congratulations.  That was mighty nice of him to run towards home! ;)  Mine usually head toward a cypress swamp and I have to race the gators to them....
