Another yew teaser (New Pics added...no longer a teaser)
« on: December 14, 2012, 03:46:00 am »
I am just about done with this bow. It came from a nice yew stave that Dave Lawson of wilderness arrows gave me (snag).  I am giving it to my  buddy as a wedding present .  It is the salmon backed bow on the bottom of the pics.

48# 28"
65" nntn.
Salmon backed yew
Shellac finish
Bison bone tip overlays

Some great work there.
Very pretty tips on those bows. What's that stripey horn (top nock bottom pic)?

I've been wondering how salmon skins would work out. Those look great! Nice Job, and thanks for sharing.

Sorry to be such a tease.   ;D  I built up an arrow rest of cork on it last night.  I will try to get a handle on it today, and then maybe some full draw pics.
