What animal is this?
« on: October 31, 2007, 12:28:23 am »
I have asked a few of the chuckle heads  ::) on this board with no real answer other than winnie the pooh  :P ...and clearly by its stance and lack of pudgy tummy it is NOT Winnie the Pooh  >:( despite the fact that he always enjoyed a game of Pooh Sticks whenever possible  :) ...how ever it could be Eeyore  ::) ...but it not any thoughts? :-\
Seen in East Texas about a week or so ago from a game camera.

Marie, I cant see it clearly but it looks like an animal I saw about a month ago on Comcast news. A lady in Texas hit one with her car. The news cliip said it might be The Chupacabre.

Justin swears it is a racoon but to me the ears are too big and snout too long.  It could be just odd shading with the light and all.  The piglets are cute aren't they?  ;D

I was thinking coon or quadi-whatyacallit!(sp)  but now that I see the other pics, it could be a piglet. ???  Piglets are cute...especially with an apple in their mouth.  ;) Pat

Yea! coatimundy (sp)           I know, we have to be careful with Justin's fragile ego. He could break at any point. :'(   Pat

There is only one way to tell for sure.  Shoot it and eat it.  If it tastes like chicken its prob. something native.  If it tastes like a taco prob. something from south of the border.

It's the larval stage of bigfoot. They shed their skin and metamorphosize at about 13 months of age, usually weaving a cocoon inside a hollow tree near water.
