Finishing & Reworks
« on: April 02, 2013, 09:48:27 pm »
Got out to the pit tonight and decided to rework a couple points that I did last year. The other two were bifaces that I finished into points. The white one is ht coral, platinum blue bottle, and then two hornstones of different grades.

Looks like some killers Tracy.  I've never had any luck with the Platinum glass, always crumbles on me.  Nice work, see you in a few weeks in TN!! dpg

Tracy, I looked at that first pic and viewed a problem I could not figure it out, then it hit me! The problem with that first pic is that those four points are laying in a hand that is not mine
Nice points

Thank you Matt & Derik! They will go on some cane arrows soon. Derik, the 28oz bottles work better for me getting a point of size.

Erik. I'm just now after 6 years of beating rock starting to get them thinner. There is a tutorial at the top of the page that Tower put together that might help you visualize the process. Keep practicing and you'll figure it out. Good luck!
