Thanks you guys! Yeah bones it's that same big biface I knocked out in the pit out of that raw Georgetown. Sure love me some raw TX rock :)
Bob- the trick to making this one and keeping the width at the base is thinning from the base instead of the sides on the basal end. The only trick to that is supporting the piece so you don't get an end snap. The originals had a little better pattern flaking with percussion and were a bit thinner I belive. I have lots of room for improvement but I think it looks ok for my first try.
