TB 2 or 3 w/ sinew?
« on: November 22, 2007, 12:53:25 pm »
Since there's not really any tension on a sinew wrapped arrow, does it work to use TB II or III for glueing down fletch and nock sinew ?  Or do I need hide glue?  thx, -Mike

I use TB3.I soak my sinew in a warm bowl of water.I squeeze some TB3 on two fingers and pull the sinew between them, wrap the arrow. After it dries, then I coat it again and seal with poly.If you want it to look authenic seal it with pitch.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I chew sinew to be wrapped. It makes it's own glue by doing so. After it dries, I add TBIII or super glue top seal.    Pat
