Two years ago at the Classic Old Hippy gave me an arrow.  It is on display in my office at work.  I told him I was going to bring it back next year and have him sign it.  Well that Old Rascal went ahead and shipped me another arrow and this one is signed.  It isn't part of the arrow exchange but I wanted to post it anyway.  He told me I'd never shoot it because its to long for my stubby arms.

Thanks Old Hippy.

That old codger makes a pretty nice arrow.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Glad that you like it you old rascal. The point is mook set with pitch in my famous hill cane, wrapped with sinew, 32 inches ling with self nocks. Not too pretty but will do the job.
Now Clint has to teach me how to make a pretty bow with the wood he is going to bring me to the Classic next year >:D.   Hope you like it little buddy.
   Peace, Hippy

Old Hippy, that point is the exact shape as the first Native American point I found on our property when I was around 5 years old.  I didn't even know what it was.  I picked it up and showed my parents because it was shaped like a Christmas tree.

Alright, here are pics of not one but two very nice arrows sent to me from Ed Brooks. Thank you very much! The darker one is a hand planed fir arrow from a century old barn beam with an obsidian point and the other is hazel with a bone point and natural cresting colors with a down/ marabou at the fletch. Thanks again Ed!

Sounds good to me brother. Eric may be the reason that I forgot. You just remember to bring them and remind me to sign them.

Clint, the same thing happened to me yesterday. Elijah, "Seminole wind", came over yesterday so I could help him with some string making for his 300# Osage bow. ::) While he was here he gifted me with a very nice arrow from that matched set he had posted a week or so, ago. he told me since he's leaving for Afghanistan in two weeks and will not get a chance to hunt with them he gave them all away.
I feel very honored to have it and if I get a chance that's gonna be the first arrow out of my quiver this year.
