   Hello Everyone, I'v bilt alot of bows but i'v never tryed a knock overlay. any tips would be grate.

Hmm... my first overlays were with wood, mainly to stop some sqeaking of the bow string on the hard wood. Was alot easier than I thought. Just make sure he two peices are nice and flat (well, flat-ish) and clamped down for glueing. Then have fun ;D.

Like Gordon said check out his builalong, he explains it very well. Pretty much the exact same way i do it. The shape of the tip is up to you though.

Take a look at a thread on p. 5 about tips (nocks).  They show some of the best I've seen.
