Bow for my brother.

I made my brother my first bow. Also made him arrows and a quiver to go with it. Oh bow stringer too. Done my first scrimshaw on a bone strike plate. Deer antler tips snake skins from snakes he killed in his duck pond. Beaver string silencers. 50 lbs at about 26in 72 in long red oak.

Nice bend on that bow....great job all around......and holy crap a bow posted on the bow section will wonders never cease?????

I'm keeping them long for now cause I keep breaking the shorter ones. Practice on these for a Lil while then start maken shorter bows I hope. Lol. Made me one that long too have to put some finishing touches on it then some pics. I hope!

Sneak up on those shorter bows if that's what works for you.  But don't let 'em scare you off. 

Nice looking work, buddy.  Love the scrim.

Looks really nice for a first.  I'm not sure if you are looking for constructive criticism, but on future bows you may want to leave a bit more "meat" in the fade area.  Judging by the 3rd picture, it looks like a bit of a hinge coming right off the handle. I've done it too :)
