First Primitive Kill
« on: December 22, 2007, 10:45:58 am »
I shot this doe Thursday night in Florida on some private land.  It was a 20 yard shot with a 50# @28" hickory bow and an 800 grain ash arrow( made by my brother Bjordnolf) with a stone point( made by Mullets friend Claude).  The arrow hit a rib on the way in then got the lung.  She ran about 60-70 yards before falling.

Impressive shot and nice deer. How'd the stone point hold up?
