My best point yet.

The heat treating on the agate worked wonders at 580 deg.
 
I think I now know what everyone means when they say it worked like butter. I have been working raw stone up till now and raw agate is hard to work. It has been real hard to get thin I got this one thin 210 thousandths at its thickest point. Almost everything I tried to do seemed to work. :o I love the look of agates and hope this one was not just a fluke.

I just wanted to share my good luck with this point.
