Nice job. Them fox squirrels have a nice thick hide. Should come in handy for something.  What happened to the beard?

Good shooting!  My favorite string silencers are fox squirrel tail.  I skin the tail out and tack it spread apart with the rest of the hide.  Once it's good and dry,  split that first five or six inches near the base of the tail.  Makes a fine puff of red fur silencer.  If you can hit one of those little devils, you can kill anything in the woods.   ;D

Its funny what nerves can do to you in the stand. I can go from a 6'3" 240lb bearded warrior to a quivering little child in a matter of seconds over a doe when I have a bow in hand. Its not like that with a rifle. A bow is just more personal.

Congrats on the squirrel btw

I've never got one with my bow, I can barely shoot one with my 22. I LOVE Eatin squirrels though!

Kudos Chris - a Tree Rat with a bow on a stalk, 'bout as good as it gets IMHO. Good eats too ! Bob

Great trophy Chris.  I'm still looking for my first self bow kill. Personal, commitments are finally out of the way.  It's time to live in the woods for awhile.  :)

Squirrels are typically a tougher take, per capita, than deer.  Much smaller target and they make a living by dodging things flying at them from the air.  But there are a lot of them to try.
