I cheated though I used about a 1 inch section from a thin rubber worm. I like using flies better but that was from one of my earlier outings when i didnt know what i was doing

      Hoonah,Alaska A little native village of 900 souls on an island in southeast alaska. I am making red alder shoot shaft's,knapping arrowheads and waiting on a fresh bunch of goose primaries a friend is sending over.

  Right now,Ice we've got.Rock is non-existant around here,However: I've got a stash of obsidian and some inter-net buddies that have sent me a good bit of flint and agate.Been snowing for the last two days,I am staining shafts with onion skin stain,something I did'nt know about until I read it in the PA forum the other day.
