Ashock, You can make whatever point you want to make out of whatever material. It's all about sharing what you do as a flintknapper, weather your a new addict working with toilet tank material and getting steps on every flake or an expert working with some exotic rock making sweetwater biface replicas dont really matter.
I think it is important to take pics of the point you recieve and post them on the results thread. If someone can't post pics they should let it be known in the sign up thread or somewhere so the sender can take pics and post them for the reciever after they have been recieved.
It's all about seeing what everyone else sent and recieved as much as sending and recieving of ones own trade, and mostly having fun.
