whats the best to use to make Hide glue and wher to get the makins?

PK go to the grocery store and buy a couple boxes of Knox gelatin
its really hide glue.

Most craft stores or art stores carry granular hide glue, or liquid hide glue , Unless you have a drive to be all primitive and make your own glue, or just want to try it , I would stick with the stuff thats ready to go.

look hide glue up on google... there is a place in N.C that sells it 5lbs for $50..

I waas just curious What it was made from besides dead horse parts, Was wondering if ground horn would work, Maybe Finger nails,just joshin with the finger nales lol

Hide glue is made from hide.  ;D Animal glues are made from other parts.  Justin

PK,,, My understanding is that Hide Glue is made from rabbit hides,, I would guess you could use any rawhide or fresh skin, animal hoofs, horn, tendons etc
