Tennessee Classic Challenge Bow
« on: June 01, 2014, 08:34:51 pm »
Hey guys,

I started this one at Marty's in February, took it home and heat tempered the belly and finished it at the classic. First time trying reverse handle by leaving growth rings on the back so I wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out alright. Tips and handle overlays are bacote. 48#@27" 60"ntn. This bow shoots hard and fast with no handshock, in fact, I had several black widow shooters comment on its speed! >:D thanks for looking

Oh yea, it retains over 1" reflex. Tiller looks like its bending too much near the fades but almost all the reflex it started with was in the outer limbs.

Wow!
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-
the upper part is pressed down,
the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

Sweet bow, Cody!! :P

design and tiller look perfect, but of course I expect nothing less from you....now that handle, that handle is exceptional in every way.   8)

Looks like you added a little something to the handle since I last saw that one while you were working on it, looks real nice all finished up. Gentlemen, this man makes a sweet shooting bow.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
