That is one of your finest bows yet !
keep shooting it and it will teach you how to be a good shot
by the way it looks much nicer than most of Howards works and thats from one of his fans, I will take Howard over Fred  any day , but then I aint from Michigan
Good job!!

Chris; You have to love Ipe. I still can't get over how little wood you have to use to make a hard, fast shooting bow when using Ipe. Well done, Sir!

Nice! Howie the boards has a nicely slim look to it. Ipe is good looking wood. You never see it around here, not in bows nor in decks...
Don't shoot!

I gotta be honest, when I clicked on this post, I wasn't sure what I was going to see. But all I can say is WOW ! You knocked it out of the Park with this one Bud - stunning. Tiller is spot on and Your design flawless. By far the coolest Board Bow I've ever seen ! Bob

Cool bow! Love that brick of a handle :) for some reason I was expecting a red oak "board" bow. Super nice glue up!

Red oak? You should know better singer/songwriter! That stuff is for furniture, trim and picture frames.

That does look like a smooth shooter, reminds me of what I always call English style. Not sure if that is the right term. You are a good example of versatility in bowyering.

Steve wouldn't the English style have a more round tiller with no distinct handle? Like a lot of what Del builds. Ill admit, I didn't do any research, just built what I seen in my minds eye.

Pearl, I just rememeber looking at these old photos from the 20's and they had these long skinny stiff handle bows. Not sure where I picked up that they were english tyle ( not english longbows) but I think I read it somewhere once.
