Sent messages (PM) not showing?

I have my PM inbox open. In the list at the top some of the messages show that they were responded to. When I scroll down the messages I've responded to have a line that says "« You have forwarded or responded to this message. »"

But when I go to "Sent Items" there is nothing there. I can't seem to find the text for messages I've responded to at all.

This might not seem like a big deal, but I don't remember everything I put in a handful of replies and wanted to review what I wrote before responding again.

Is there any way to see my responses?

I might have figured it out. When sending a response I noticed there was a checkbox that says "Save a copy in my outbox." This wasn't checked before.
