"Mingo"
« on: July 25, 2014, 11:11:28 pm »
This is the 2014 trade bow I made.  It's 68" long.  Scalloped hickory with a stiff handle, no arrow rest.  Wrapped in cotton, dyed red.  48#@28", here.  I figure it'll pick up some weight.  May even need some re-tillering.  Flourescent pink/orange FF string with muskrat silencers.  Thin Ipe overlays.  Angie made a fleece bow sock.

Shoots where I look!

That's a nice one, Steve. It ought to be smooth being that long.

I like the scolloped bows and Mingo is a good looking one Steve, ought to make your recipient real happy. I've done a couple in hickory myself and am just finishing one in hackberry now, great minds think alike. ;)
