osage double scalloped
« on: July 27, 2014, 09:25:05 pm »
Here my latest osage bendy and my second scalloped.  Did not follow any specific tribal design just started marking and burning. 57" ntn, about 50@24/25 (never put a scale on it). Made from dead standing cut 6 months ago. Wind checks up and down it. Holds 1 1/2" to 2 " of reflex. Was going to do some paint or stain on the sides and decided to burn some stuff on it. Cork built up handle. Got about 150 arrows out of it and am real happy. Smooth and quite. Going to elm hall this weekend and plan to put a bunch more out of it. Thanks for looking!

Paul makes a nice bow, just dont ask him to hit a jug of water with it! ;D ;)

That's a good one, Paul. Scallop season is open down here.
