It almost looks like a rattlesnake tail. I bet it would look great as string nocks on a snakey bow with skins.

Those scales are sweet. I've been using layered burlap but it looks like I am gonna have to get some corn.

Those scales look great.has anyone ever though of using the corn cob scales as accent piece inlays on bows or a forearm of a rifle or shot gun?-
