a snakey sliver of osage/ updated with my daughters f/d pg 2

I got this little sliver of osage plus a real nice stave from paulsemp, he thought it might make a bow, we'll it took some doing but dang if pauly wasn't right, in a straight line it's 60" ttt and 42#@26"

thank's jordo, I took some prop twist out but the rest is just what came out of it warts and all, bit of a bear for me to tiller but I got a decent bend on her

 the wraps are where their were some crack's that I didn't like the look's of, thank's for the stick paul it taught me a few things, thank's for looking

Great job Bub.  Looks like such a sweet little thing.  Some of the bows that turn out looking simply beautiful are anything but simple in the beginning.  Love the D bows :)

Nice bow Bubby! I have yet to see one of pauls selfbows that was not full of cracks! He's a crack addict. ;D  They do shoot nice though. ;)

knoll all this proves is it literally don't take much osage to make a bow :laugh:

Nice job bub 8)  Just remembered you texted me I pic a few days ago and I forgot to reply.  That bow is sweet and glad you found it in there. Don't be scared of checks, I don't have a stave without them.

Nice work bub,  looks like one of those pieces that require a little thought to wrangle a bow out of. I've seen quite a bit of Paul's osage this year and some nice bows made from it as well. Nice character in the stuff he's cut.
