How did you get interested in archery?

My family and I are wanting to move out into a homestead/farm in the next couple years and am working on a mini-farm of sorts where we are now. Archery especially primitive archery is something that really speaks to me, plus I have been getting into woodworking lately. I have shot my brother's compound a little in the past and some dinky cheap bows when I was a kid. But other than that I am not exprienced

Get yourself a board or tree stave and start whittling. Ask questions and take pics as you go. We'll have you building yourself a bow in no time.
