Good job Clint. That first photo looks like a road kill. >:D

It does except for that arrow sticking out of it.  I've had deer drop near a road and on our tractor trails in the woods but I've never had one drop in the road.  We had to hurry and get it loaded in the truck before the mail girl drove by.  I don't think it would have bothered her to much.  She stops and talks hunting with me sometimes.

I've seen your mail lady and I want to trade mine for yours! I wonder what the goats were thinking when they saw it drop there?

Sorry, no trade Tracy.   When I first walked into the clearing and saw it laying there both of the goats were just staring at it.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Congrats Clint. Well done. The only deer I ever shot that made its way to blacktop under its own power ended up in someone else's truck.

Awesome job! This is my goal for next year, harvesting a deer with bow and arrow that I made.

congrats Clint.  I was thinking about you today and wondering if you've gotten a deer yet.  I've been MIA on this forum and need to catch up with old friends.
