Best Shavehorse Design Ever?
« on: October 25, 2014, 01:37:32 pm »
Hey guys, just saw this sweet shavehorse and thought some of you might be interested in it.  The ratcheting head on it looks like it would be quite versatile, not only for bow making, but other projects as well.  Here's a video of it in use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84BsMPsfDEE

And a couple blog posts describing it, and how to make the head:

Forget beautiful, it is very functional!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Very nice, when I first started a buddy of mine showed me a video of the same shave horse head. I thought it was a bit difficult for what I needed. But now I am ready to make one that doesn't hurt my back! Patrick
