#1 for my new snakebow
« on: November 01, 2014, 02:21:32 pm »
Been a tough start to my season but this morning I got lucky! Had a couple does come in around first light. Shot this one at 7 yds, watched it drop 30 or so yards away. Turned out it was a button buck, but I couldn't be happier! Backstap on the grill tonight!!! I got him with a bow I built back in august from a stave Pat B gifted me at the classic this year. It's pullin low 40's at my draw. Didn't have any trouble puttin this guy down for the count. Might have to try for a couple more with it :)

Cool Will.  8)  I knew if anyone could build a bow with that stave you could. Very cool you got a deer with it too.
