Osage billets
« on: November 15, 2014, 04:37:30 pm »
I'm looking for a nice clean pair of osage billets. 34" minimum, bark off would be nice. I have so many things to trade, it would be pointless to post them all. If you have something in mind, please let me know.

I'm assuming your looking for dry billets. I have a pair that look pretty nice, but they are not dry. They were cut 2 months ago and still have the bark on. Not exactly what you're looking for, but if you're interested I can take some pics tommorrow.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking for something a bit more seasoned. I'm hoping to make a T/D asap. I will look at some pics if you'd like to send some. I'm always on the hunt for good osage, even if it's for future considerations.

Adam, I have a few set of well aged osage billets. I'll take a few pics for you later today.

Thanks, Pat! The bark will have to be off to get it across the border. I've had trouble with bark on crossing the border.

Adam, if you decide one of these sets is OK with you I'll remove any bark if necessary. Let me check to be sure one of these sets will be appropriate for what you are needing.  ;)

I have a few matched billets that are seasoned. I will take pics tomorrow ad send them to you. They still have the bark on them but I will remove it before I would send them.

Yes. Thank you. I am aware of both sets of billets that Lavern has for sale on ebay. They look very good, but they're green... just recently cut.

I apologize adb I didn't get home from work in time to get any pictures of the billets I have. I should be able to get some pictures tomorrow no problem. Patrick
