Those bows are something else for sure. That is quite the gift.

Can't get my head around how you accomplished those backings.  Amazing!
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

I just saw this post.  BEAUTIFUL work!

Me too.

This pair is just one more example of your skill and craftsmanship Bill! Hope your daughter and son in law make it to a shoot so I can see their new bows! Great job Bill!

Wow that feather backing sure is pretty especially against yellow wood!  Lucky kids you have man, gotta build 'em the same though or someone will say, "But why does theirs have ____ and mine doesn't?"  j/p my kids are still young so... Beautiful bows man.

Thanks,
Jesse, Tracy, Peacebow and Swampman......
My son in law and I when out today and shot a few 3D targets with "His" bow.   First shot at the turkey ...."head shot" ....dead bird! Right where he was aiming .. ::)  :) ;)

We had a good time even though we started out in 18 deg weather.  The bows backing took the cold weather real well.  I feel real good about the "Flex Coat" finish as long as you don't use a softer material to set the feathers in.  I will defiantly do this backing more often.

Again thanks guys for your comments...........
